"Authentic Flavor with Room to Grow – Still Worth a Visit! I recently had the chance to try out this Mexican food spot, and overall, it was a pleasant experience! The place is very clean, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Big bonus: great parking space and super fast service, which is always appreciated when you’re hungry! I tried the gordita de chicharrón en salsa verde, and it did not disappoint — nice size, good flavor, and a solid kick of spice. It hit the spot! The menudo and pozole both had great flavor with just the right amount of spice — definitely comforting and authentic. That said, the bowls were big but the servings felt a bit small, with more broth than substance. Either a smaller bowl or a little more of the good stuff inside would make a big difference. And honestly, handmade tortillas would elevate the whole experience — hopefully they’ll consider adding that soon! Prices were slightly on the higher side for the portions, but the taste and service help balance it out. All in all, a solid spot for Mexican comfort food with a few areas to improve. I’ll definitely be back."

"We had a great experience at Chilito Rojo! We ordered the shredded beef tacos, a fajita burrito, and a couple of chicken gorditas, and everything was really good. The shredded beef was flavorful, the fajita burrito was filling and packed with flavor, and the chicken gorditas were delicious and comforting. What really stood out was the service. The man working there was so nice and incredibly helpful — he made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us, which made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!"

"The place is clean and everyone friendly. My steak torta was very good. Everyone said the food was pretty good. Maybe a little high price for lunch, they do not do military discounts either. But i would go back for a torta."

"Bright well lit inside and new decoration. 7 choices of protein to customize some of the menu items. The regular names of items listed and then the “English” translation under it on the menu board. So helpful. Very friendly staff and we were the last customers on Friday. He was singing along perfectly with the music. Helped the ambiance. Have the Jarritos glass bottled drinks I like too."

"Pretty good spot! Enjoyed my pastor burrito. Service was friendly and fairly quick. They're obviously experiencing the same minor issues that all brand new restaurants do, but no major problems! One suggestion I'd make is adding chips and salsa. I know that isn't always a feature of more authentic taquerias, but in Texas I feel like it's going to win over more customers. All in all this place is good and I'm sure will improve as they work some the beginner kinks and get their routine down!"

"The restaurant looked very clean, probably because it just opened not too long ago. We ordered three tacos – chicken, steak, and barbacoa – plus a sandwich (torta) and a kids’ meal with quesadillas. The tacos and sandwich were so delicious, with lots of meat and everything tasted really fresh. My kids loved the quesadillas because they’re big fans of cheese. We’ll definitely come back again."
